  • Authorities in the southwest Missouri city of Joplin are starting to assess damage done by a massive tornado that killed over 115 people on the weekend. It is the worst tornado to have hit the US in 60 years. Recovery efforts continue today amidst unsettled weather i.e rain, hail, high winds and the possibility of more tornadoes.
  • A new study indicates that autistic people see and understand symmetry better than those
    without autism.
  • An animal thought to be part timber wolf has been stalking Bowen Island just off the coast of Vancouver for about 6 months-praying mainly on dogs and cats.
