Queen Elizabeth 2 celebrated her 65th anniversary as Queen  on Monday, Feb 6th.

900 workers will loose their jobs at MB Hydro and customers will be paying more for Hydro.

Larry Maguire  M.P mentioned the people of Virden and how they stepped up to help stranded  motorists during a recent storm which closed #1 highway. Mrs Bochek was one of the volunteers.
