A CN train carrying propane and petroleum exploded about 80km west of Edmonton on October 12th.

An Edmonton cop who witnesses a act of brutality where a hand cuffed man was beat in a street and was to scared to testify and Dereck went and told his superior and the case was dropped and then quit the force.

Nov 4

On Oct.30, 2013 over 16,000 high school and junior high students attended WE Day in Winnipeg; there were 15 or more great inspirational motivational speakers, bands and musicians with one message of being the positive change in the world. 

On Nov.1 Bill Ayotte was attacked by a polar bear while saving a woman in front of his house; he was flown to the Winnipeg hospital.

On Oct. 19, 2013 the Brandon Wheat Kings beat the Medicine Hat Tigers 6-3 when they "pinked the rink" by wearing pink jerseys in support of the Canadian Cancer Society raised over 25000 dollars.

Tropical storm Raymond steamed Sunday Oct. 27 toward Mexico's Southern Pacific coast an area devestated by rains and mudslides from tropical storm manuel in Setpember.

On Oct. 29, 2013 the grade 7/8 boys went to represent their school at Virden Manitoba for Volleyball Divisionals.

The Provincal Government is supporting high schools across Manitoba torwards their educational and job opporunities in the future.
