- The 500 bike ride for MS was this past weekend.
- The walk for autism was this past weekend in Brandon.
- The Bison Transport trailer with back end blown out right beside the Oak Lake turn off.
- Their was a big recall on Fisher Price products. There were over 11 million toys bring recalled.
- Saskatchewan Roughriders QB Darion Dwarnt has been selected the CFL's offencive player of the month for September. Roughriders slot back Andy Fantuz picked up the top Canadian honors.
