History Happening Today
Sunday was not super Sunday for Canada in the Winter Olympics.
- The mens hockey team lost to USA 3-5. The main factor was goal tending. Ryan Miller in goal for USA was basically unbeatable.
-The womens curling team lost to China.
-Mellisa Hollingsworth fell from 2nd place to 5th in her final skeleton race. She was winning until she bumped the walls. Mellisa still waved the OLCS Canadian flag at the end of her race.
- Christina Groves got silver in the 1500m speed skating for Canada. Jon Montgomery from Russell wins gold in mens skeleton.
Canada has 9 medals.

- OLCS will hold its annual Social/Science fair Thurs. Feb. 27. Projects are due now!
