HHT: Tuesday, March 8th, 2016

• On February 23rd 2016  our OLCS grade 7/8 boys basketball team made history by clinching the FLBSD Divisional Championship in 3 straight games and remained undefeated throughout the season! This is the first time our boys have been the Divisional Champion in 17 years! Go Raptors Go!

HHT for January 28th, 2016

• The 100th Anniversary of women's  right to vote in Manitoba is being recognized today due to the hard work of women's advocate Nellie McClung.

• 30 years ago today on January 28th, 1986 the Space Shuttle Challenger exploded after take off from Cape Canaveral. All 7 crew perished, along with teacher Christa McAuliffe who was the first civilian who ever attempted space travel.

•  Anita shared a incident from 2014  regarding a case of bullying due to a My Little Pony backpack, where finally a school board recognized and dealt  fairly with the incident.

• Children are being treated terribly just to try to get away from war torn Syria as some families have left them behind or have been separated as they flee seeking safety. (Michelle)
