He is an award winning scientist/enviromental activist:
-Humans have existed for 100, 000 years
- 1 billion people on earth. We need air, H2O. land to keep us alive. Every country is trying to use 88% of land for humans and 12% of land for others. Sunlight drives light on earth - Photosynthesis. Humans are consumers of stuff/use the planet and dump waste. Humans are a major part of catastrophes floods, oil spills, hurricanes
Spotted owl- 20 species now 6 species- others in danger is Polar bears, Pollock and salmon.
People were hunters and gatherers then became farmers and now 80-85% of people moved to big cities. Their highest piority is to get things they want but dont need.
-Alaska - carribou calve, and oil exist underground.
-Air- garbage can. Humans 60-70% H2O.
